These programs were written in the fall of 1997 and the spring of 1998. I don't even use Linux on the desktop anymore, but ... they were useful to me at the time. The graph widget used has a curious and ongoing history, which I will tell some day. CPUMon This is a CPU monitor for Linux. Unlike xload, it reports the percentage CPU load any given time. I find this more useful than the system load for the things I do. Memmon A memory monitor for Linux. It shows two graphs, percent memory used and percent swap used. I wrote this as I recently changed my window manager to the KDE, (All praise the KDE. It is good and wise and powerful. The window manager you see running on these screenshots is part of the KDE.) and xmemuse wouldn't fit on the KDE's toolbar. (Dude. Buy a Mac instead.)
